Information: Being the suit used by the elite Gundam MS Teams, the RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type is a well designed and put together suit. It uses durable luna-titanium alloy and comes with a unique shaped shield. Ensign Shiro Amada destroyed his model, so it was rebuilt as the Gundam Ez8. About 20 of the mobile suits were produced from the RX-78-2's scrap materials and mostly assigned to Kojima's Battalion and the 04th and 08th MS teams. It's similar to the RX-78-2 in many ways, but it's also very different. A few noticeable things different is that the beam sabers are now in the legs because the backpack is used for supplies or a parachute, and the core block system has been completely replaced with an ordinary cockpit.
