Episode 10: Fearsome! The Dead Fighter Appears!
As the episode begins, a few men sit in a building in Neo Egypt and discuss the myth of Daharu, the long-dead hero from the past, and how his Gundam has been seen many times in Neo Egypt. Then, there is a thud at the door, and Daharu himself, wrapped in cloth strips, and his Gundam attack the men and the Gundam they were guarding. The next morning Domon and Rain come across the wreckage. Domon spots one man who is still alive. The man tells Domon that Daharu came and killed everyone. The man then dies. Domon inspects the wrecked Gundam, and sees that the cockpit was deliberately destroyed. Rain then yells out to Domon that a Gundam Fight is going on nearby. In the midst of a sandstorm, Saisaishi in the Dragon Gundam is fighting a Gundam wrapped up like a mummy. The Gundam is the Pharaoh Gundam IV, and it is piloted by Daharu. Saisaishi cuts into the Pharaoh Gundam's shoulder, but it regenerates. Daharu attacks at the Dragon Gundam's cockpit, but Saisaishi backs off before he can be hit. Saisaishi then strikes a direct hit at Daharu's cockpit, knocking a hole right through it. The Pharaoh Gundam falls over and sinks into the sand. Saisaishi is troubled that he killed a man, when Domon informs him that he has not been fighting Neo Egypt's Gundam. Saisaishi fears that he was fighting a ghost. Scared out of his mind, he pleads with Domon to stay the night with him. During the night, Domon and Rain wonder just what is going on. Domon is feels the Devil Gundam may be a part of this, since the Pharaoh Gundam shares its regeneration ability. Saisaishi wakes up in the middle of the night to pee, and spots a mummy. Terrified, Saisaishi runs back to the camp. The next day, they go to the tomb where Daharu is supposed to be. Domon and the monks finally convince Saisaishi to enter. When they are walking through a hallway, Domon, Rain, and Saisaishi fall down into Daharu's tomb. Domon opens the stone casket to discover nothing inside. Daharu then breaks through the wall and latches on to Saisaishi with two of his cloth strips. Domon attacks Daharu, and finds out that underneath the cloth is machinery. Domon frees Saisaishi. Rain throws a grenade at the mummy, and then the three run off. Saisaishi begins to celebrate, when the Pharaoh Gundam rises from the rubble. Domon wonders why Daharu is so intent on fighting Saisaishi. He tells Saisaishi that he must challenge Daharu. During the fight, Daharu locks Saisaishi up in a grip with his mummy strips, when Rain discovers why Daharu is after Saisaishi. Forty years ago, Daharu was defeated when the Pharaoh Gundam's head was cut off by the Dragon Gundam, piloted by Saisaishi's grandfather. The head collided with the cockpit, and Daharu was killed. The monks inform Saisaishi of this. He realizes that Daharu only wants a fight to resolve the past, and he won't deny him that. Saisaishi breaks free, and attacks Daharu with his dragon flamethrower. Daharu rises up again, and Domon attacks him with the Shining Finger. However, the Pharaoh Gundam continues to regenerate due to the work of Kyoji and the Devil Gundam. Domon will not tolerate this, and the Shining Gundam goes into Super Mode. Domon destroys the Pharaoh Gundam once and for all with the Shining Finger Sword, and then melts the lifeless body of Daharu in his glowing hand.
