Episode 9: Strong Foe! Hero Chapman's Challenge!
The episode begins as George de Sand in his Gundam Rose fights off decoy mobile suits in the thick mist of London. When Neo England's Jumble Gundam finally appears, George is easy pickings. Later on, Chapman, Neo England's Gundam Fighter, sits in a casino playing cards. Domon approaches him and asks about Kyoji, but Chapman blows him off. Domon asks to play the card game, and if he wins then Chapman must tell him all he knows. Chapman wins the hand, but Domon exposes the dealer to be a cheater. Two men pull guns on Domon, and then he and Rain are escorted to a nice room to spend the night. An injured George de Sand is soon brought in, and Rain tends to his wounds. George explains that Chapman violated the rules of the Gundam Fight, and sent out countless decoys. Once George was totally exhausted, Chapman came out and finished him off. Domon says this is impossible, as Chapman is an honorable fighter. George says that Chapman has changed into a bloodthirsty beast who will do anything to win. When Chapman wakes up in the morning, his body is suffering and he quickly take a pill. His wife is concerned at how his dosage has increased. She also wants to invite Domon and Rain to afternoon tea. During the tea time, Domon becomes angered that Chapman won't fight him. Chapman calmly squeezes the contents of a pill into his tea, and comments on how good it was to be young. Rain says she needs to step out, and grabs Chapman's pill when she pretends to fall. She examines the pill and discovers that it is a stimulant. Rain discovers the room used to store the decoy mobile suits, and realizes that George was correct. Before she can leave, Rain is knocked out by a guard. Meanwhile, Domon says that he cannot lose to someone so stuck in the past as Chapman. This enrages Chapman, who pulls out a gun. However, since his stimulant is wearing off, he cannot aim. Chapman finally accepts Domon's challenge. In the middle of the fight, Chapman's wife Manon releases the dummy mobile suits and mist that jams Domon's cameras and radar. Manon explains to Rain that after years of fighting, Chapman's body is a wreck. However, he refuses to admit it. She only wants to give her husband one final, good Gundam Fight. Chapman swallows a handfull of stimulants and waits to attack Domon. As another decoy is about to shoot Domon, George shows up and takes it out. George tells Domon that Chapman is taking stimulants, and that is how he can see through the thick fog. George tells him to stop Chapman, before he overdoses on the drugs. Manon says to Rain that Chapman does not know about the decoys or the mist, and she wants him to go out as a champion. Domon charges Chapman, but falls down at the feet of the Jumble Gundam. As Chapman is about to fire at the Shining's head, his nerves fail him and he drops his rifle. Chapman tells Domon to finish him off, and Domon uses the Shining Finger. Manon rushes to Chapman's side, and Chapman tells her that without her decoys, he would have lost long ago.
