Mobile Suit Gundam: MS IGLOO
Remember when CGI shows like "Reboot" and "Beast Wars" was on TV and you thought "Wouldn't Gundam look great as a CG series" as you were watching the two shows? Well, Bandai has done it with "MS IGLOO - the hidden one year war". Originally screened only at the Bandai Museum in Japan, Ms Igloo followed the Zeon point of view at the beginning of the One Year War, specifically through the eyes of a young test engineer Oliver May. Only planned for 3 episodes it was doubled to a total of 6 due to the popularity of the series, the last 3 titled "Apocalyspe 0079" released straight to dvd .
This series is now available in North America.
The majority of the fanbase praises (despite some of it's plot flaws) this series not only because of the UC centric story but also because it's CGI done right as compared to some of the other CGI attempts in Gundam SEED and other series.
