Episode 3 - Within The Capsule
Lyla Mira Lyla and the captain are on the refit Salamis Class ship Bosnia, talking about finding the AEUG force that attacked Grypps. Bright enters Basque's office at Grypps as ordered. Basque asks Bright to hand deliver a hand written letter of his to Jamitov. As Bright leaves he runs into Jamican who smacks Bright in his injured back. Basque knows that Franklin Vidan's son stole the Gundam Mark II. On the Ahgama Camille is talking about how he heard about the Newtype Amuro Ray from underground publications. Henken Bekkener is surprised of underground publications at Green Oasis but Camille tells him it always wasn't an army base. Brex Forer thanks Camille for his help in acquiring the two Gundam Mark IIs he says it's not something and ordinary boy can do. Camille says it's all a series of coincidences. Quattro gets a call of possible enemies so he, Brex and Henken leave. Reccoa Londo tells Camille that they are the only AEUG unit in the sector so they can assume anyone else is an enemy. Lyla launches in her Galbaldy Beta to go survey the enemy. In an elevator Brex asks if he's expecting too much, and he wants to believe Camille is a Newtype. Quattro says Newtypes are not espers and he can feel Camille's potential. Quattro leaves and goes to talk to Astonage. Astonage tells him there is a dock at Grypps and they are making warships but he doesn't know what kind. Quattro runs into Camille and asks him if he knows anything about the warships being built at Grypps. Camille says he doesn't have any details about them. Quattro asks Camille if the Gundam Mark II uses the same armor as the original Gundam. Camille says his mother the mineral specialist told him it was and that they plan to use a new armor for the successor to the Gundam Mark II. Camille says his dad said he will be aggressively incorporating Zeon technology into future models. Franklin and Hilda Vidan are taken on board the Alexandria for on the field analysis as an order from Basque. Lyla finds the Ahgama and the Mont Blanc. She looks at the Ahgama and notices it's not a ship she recognizes from the Federations ships. She's shocked to think that AEUG might have built the ship on their own. Lyla's Galbaldy Beta flashes a stop signal. They notice there are four Galbaldy Beta's approaching and Brex tells Quattro to be on stand by ready to launch at any moment. Lyla's Galbaldy stops right beside the bridge of the Ahgama and asks what unit they belong to. Brex replies they are AEUG and don't take orders from anyone. Lyla says she'll shoot them down then, Quattro's Rick Dias launches and fires at Lyla's Galbaldy Beta but she avoids it. Brex orders the mobile suits to launch as Quattro is shocked that he missed Lyla again. Hilda talks to Franklin and asks if it's true Camille stole the Mark II. Franklin says he doesn't know and all he cares right now is Basque. Hilda asks if all he cares about is the young girl Margarita, Franklin then slaps her. Reccoa gives Camille a normal suit for pilots to wear because it's the only spare one they have. Reccoa leaves and tells Camille to stay there. Lyla attacks Quattro but he dodges, Lyla notices that Quattro's Red Mobile Suit is like the Red Comet. The Ahgama is hit as Reccoa gets on the bridge she tells Henken to put on a normal suit. He refuses but Brex tells him to and he will take command while he puts it on. Quattro notices they are veterans and fires the clay bazooka at a Galbaldy Beta blowing it up. Flares from the Bosnia launch and the Galbaldy Beta's retreat. One of the Galbaldy Beta pilots tells her that Eddy got shot down and she says she wants to believe their enemy was the Red Comet otherwise it would be a disgrace. Brex and Henken talks about how the Ahgama can't proceed at full speed due to engine damage and they'll have to rely on Quattro when the second wave hits. Jamican tells some Titans' pilots that Jerid's orders should not be opened until the capsule is in view. He tells them that Emma's negotiations shouldn't take more then 15 minutes. Emma asks if the capsule is a powerful bomb and Jamican responds something like that. Emma tells the Titans pilots that it'll be the first time some of them piloted a Hi-zack and their primary mission is to negotiate the return of the Gundam Mark II. Emma launches in the Gundam Mark II, Jerid and some other pilots launch in Hi-zacks. Cesar detects enemies and says it's from a different force. The AEUG is surprised that one of the mobile suits is holding a truce flag. Henken decides they have to buy some time till the main engine is fixed so they accept it. Emma's Gundam Mark II lands on the Ahgama and she tells them that if anyone gets near it the Hi-zack will open fire. Emma meets with Henken, Quattro and Brex and asks for an immediate reply to Basque's hand written letter. Brex gets mad at the letter and asks Emma if she knows what it says to that she replies no. Quattro passes Emma the letter and she reads it "Unless you return both Gundam Mark II units along with Camille Vidan they will kill Camille's parents". Brex says it's the way of the Titans but Emma does not believe it. Brex says it's not something a military commander should be doing and Emma agrees. Brex says the Titans aren't a normal army but a private army. Emma says but they are still part of the Earth Federation. Emma says she didn't remember being a private solider of Basque but Henken says it's a private army of people whose souls are bound to Earth's gravity. Henken says it's not something that even Zeon would think of, Quattro says it may be an empty threat but Henken says that's not something Basque would do. Word spreads thought the Ahgama about Camille's parents being hostages. An AEUG solider confuses Camille with a normal person because of the pilot suit he is wearing. Brex says they will reply by shooting the Hi-zacks down around the Ahgama and everyone thinks it's too rash. Suddenly the Ahgama detects a capsule. Henken orders them to send out a spy camera to see what's in the capsule. Jerid reads his orders which say "Destroy the capsule if the enemy shows any signs of retrieving it". The Ahgama notices that there's a person inside the capsule and Emma can't believe it, she says it's a video signal or hologram but Brex tells her that Basque is not one to play games. Henken asks them to find Camille and to identify the person in the capsule. Reccoa suggesting giving into Basque but Brex says they can't do that. Suddenly Camille launches in the Gundam Mark II, Emma says he must have recognized the person in the capsule. Jerid sees the Gundam Mark II launches but notices that it's not Emma and fires but Camille dodges. As Camille approaches the capsule he sees that his scared mom is in the capsule. As the Gundam Mark II's hand reaches to grab the capsule Jerid fires and glass shatters killing Camille mom, Jerid is shocked that there was no bomb. Camille starts to cry at his moms death.
