May 28, 2007 - "Char Answers the Call!"

Big thanks to Char from the chat/forum for answering the call and coming through by passing along a copy of the old Gplus comic. It's now been posted in the G.I.G. so you can either find it via there or just click here.

EZero8's franken section may also look odd but that's because I'm slowly working on updating and chaging it around.

Also updated the links page.

Have a good one folks

Just a couple of quick notes for today(as well as correcting a very minor "boo boo" on one of the fan art pages)as I'll be working on re-vamping EZero8's franken area over the next few days. As reported on Zannen.ca and noted on YTV's page, the Bionix anime block will be expanding into Saturday nights as of June 2. What does that mean to Gundam Fans? Well, take a look at the line-up and see for yourselves:

10:00pm - Naruto
10:30pm - Inuyasha
11:00pm - Gundam SEED
11:30pm - Shadow Raiders

Yup, looks like SEED is getting a second night after it's firday night showing at 11:30pm. While I think it's great that more Gundam is out there it would have been nice for YTV to try and show something that Canadian fans have yet to see. Anything like G-Gundam, 8th team, 0083 or even going beyond the box and to the next box and showing the Zeta Gundam dub. Ah, well. Better to have some Gundam on TV and no Gundam at all even if it is SEED.

As well, this is a longshot, but if anyone out there has the original "Gundam Plus Comic" that Audio made all those years ago on the old old forum, please contact me ASAP. I would love to have it to post here as well just so I can have it because it was probably one of the funnist things I've ever read.

Enjoy the weekend and have a happy long memorial day weekend to the US visitors.

Wow, long weekend plus light class schedule means I can actually update more in such a small time. Maybe soon I'll able be to compete with the big sites! Ok, I won't go that far..but at least I'm still keeping this place alive and not dropping it after a month.

Anyway, today I've got a few things to bring you. First up, I went and posted my review for G-Saviour. You all can thank me for having to sit through it and watch it another day. ;)

Next, Jericho from the forum has posted some fan art that I've added to the site. At the same time I've added a few wallpapers I've had sitting on my computer to share with you folks. Click on the links or head into the G.I.G. to check it out.

Finally, two of our newest members of the forum, O'Reagan and Toxicity, have written up and found pictures for our first set of mecha profiles for the Character and Mecha section. Many thanks to them for helping out right off the bat and giving us some good stuff to boot.

That's all, have a good one everyone

Nothing really added today as I'm still technically away despite heading home early. The only bit of news is that I've got is I found a web chat so now folks who are not IRC savvy can join in on the "zany" and "fun" chatter that takes place in our chatroom. Just head over to the chat page on the left for details or just click here to head there right away.

Also added a link to EZero8's RPG site as a thanks for all his help to the site and the forum. You can find the link to his site here.

Have a good one

Just a quick note that it was just announced on Gunota that Bandai has revealed at the Shizuoka Hobby show what the 100th MG Model will be. This is a fairly big deal with Gundam and model forums (our own forum included) all trying to figure out which Gundam or mobile suit will be the 100th.

The 100th Master Grade model will be......the TURN-A Gundam!

Don't know about the rest of you but I'm very happy, especially since it's not just another RX-78.

That's it, have a good one and I should have an update for the weekend unless I go up north to party since it's the long weekend.

Another Friday and another update for everyone.

First up, I finally got off my lazy duff and watched (aka re-watched) and reviewed Char's Counterattack and Gundam F91. Click on the links provided or head over to the TV and Movies section to check them out.

Secondly, I added a few more of EZero8's franken designs to his section. Hopefully with summer coming a few more of the known franken designers will start passing along their works.

Third - if you're looking for Gundam models or DVDs or even T-shirts head into the forum and check out Lalahghost's thread in the models and merchandise section where he's selling some of his stuff off. He's a friend to the forum and the site and very trustworthy to deal with so don't worry about him hosing you in a deal or anything.

Finally, this time of year various anime conventions are running so if anyone knows of any that has a Gundam related panel or wishes to pass along a report about one that took place, feel free to drop me a line and I'll glady post it here on the site.

Now that you're done all this reading, go outside and enjoy the nice weather. :)

Another Sunday and another quick update for everyone. This time Jerchio drops in Episode 2 of 0083 and also adds a revised version of Episode 1, EZero8 passes along his thoughts on the old Ps2 game "Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo" and I also post my views on the MG Acguy.

AnimeNewsNetwork also has a story about the Sci-Fi channel in the USA adding an anime block. Now, while Gundam shows haven't been announced for it yet it wouldn't be such a leap tp see Sci-Fi maybe showing something gundam related in the future. If anything, it would be something worrth while for our American and those that get Sci-fi) to check out. Gotta think positive folks.

Hopefully next week I'll be able to post the reviews for Char's CounterAttack and Gundam F91.

Have a good one
